I’ve eaten at A LOT of vegan restaurants in over 40 states across the USA. This restaurant is easily in the top three. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. This was a nice upscale setting with classical favorites. The BBQ wings were crispy but light. None of the food was oily. Our server was very attentive and polite. I would have ordered any of our dishes a second time. Highly recommend this place to vegan and non vegan eaters.
We went here for an evening snack, but seeing and smelling other people's food made us regret not having a meal here. The food was delicious and it's great that it's plant based with lots of gluten free options. The service was fantastic and we sat on the patio which had a great vibe in the evening. This was a great find and I will definitely be back.
my mom had been there and really enjoyed the food - so we came back for lunch today. neither of us is vegan - but the food here is absolutely divine - whether you are or not. I had the ceasar with a hummus and pita starter, mom had the beyond burger ( ?) and said it was the best burger she’d ever had. Not the best vegan burger - just the best burger period. she was also madly in love with the ‘cheese’ on her salad. The service was friendly and fast (and it was really busy around lunch). We were impressed and will be back!
Every time we’re in Nanaimo and looking for food or a nice meal, This is our favourite place to go. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. The Location, despite being in the suburbs of Nanaimo, is really cute and feels like you were in the wooden cottage. The menu is simple food, with handhelds a good selection of appetizers and salads and some beans with a running theme of Greek and Thai/Vietnamese flavors. The steak sandwich was delicious, and we love the calamari and wings.
A vegan friend recommended this place and we invited friends to it when we went for the first time. So we were really hoping it won’t disappoint and it didn’t! The food was well presented, delicious and good varieties. The place is cozy and I bet it would even be nice in summer on the patio. Indoors was so nice and comfortable. Desserts are good too, chose chocolate cake and cookies. Both were great choices! Staff were very peasant and nice. We would definitely go back for more!
First let me say we don't follow a vegan lifestyle but we do appreciate eating healthy food that is also delicious. We were both very impressed with this adorable place! The service was impeccable and we didn't wait long for the food. We had Oyster Mushroom Kalamari with Tzatziki, Beyond Meat Burger with Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Rose Ravioli, Nanaimo Bar and coffee. Everything was 5 stars with taste & presentation. We were stuffed!
A great restaurant/ hidden gem that we are lucky to have in Nanaimo. Plenty of options for both vegans and non-vegans. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was serene. The cauliflower bites were excellent!
Great atmosphere, the food is incredible with a lot of flavours within each dish portion size was great we enjoyed it very much will definitely be back
